LIGHT BEAT
LIGHT BEAT is a unique sound and light performance developed by EXTRAsync for DGA presented at Salone del
Mobile 2023.
At the core of the project are the custom-designed Lightboxes created by EXTRAsync specifically for this event.
Each participant becomes both performer and medium, wearing a Lightbox that simultaneously generates sound
and illumination.
The performance creates a living network of light and sound, where individual contributions merge into a collective
beat./pulse.
As part of the performance, EXTRAsync also developed a real-time video system/visualization that visualized the
activity
f each Lightbox. Every participant could see their position mapped in the video projection creating a direct connection
between individual action and the collective audiovisual composition.
Developed as part of EXTRAsync’s ongoing research in the fields of art, music, and technology, LIGHT BEAT embodies the
team’s commitment to designing innovative tools and interactive systems that enable new forms of live performance and
audience participation.

VIVIRLO TODO / JCDecaux
For the Premios Eficacia gala 2022, JCDecaux commissioned SCHNITT in collaboration with Gianluca Sibaldi to conceive
and perform a bespoke audiovisual piece tailored to the formal, high-visibility setting of Teatro Real, Madrid. Schnitt’s
engagement encompassed the full creative development of the performance together with the implementation and
operation of the real-time technical stack.
Using their custom Extrascan software, Schnitt processed and re-mapped JCDecaux’s corporate identity images into
dynamic visual structures, generating a real-time audiovisual translation during the live performance.
DIGIWALL
DIGIWALL is an interactive visual and sound experience that turns any surface into a space where narrative, infographic
or decorative elements come to life.
DIGIWALL is installed using a video projection system, an array of touch sensors that can be applied invisibly to most
surfaces, and software specially developed by EXTRAcode.
By the touch of light spots, graphics or images, the visitor can activate a video sequence, a series of sounds, animations,
or a combination of these. The wall then comes alive, involving the visitor in a dynamic, multi-sensory experience.
DIGIWALL can tell stories, promote products, provide information in a creative and entertaining way.
DIGIWALL may be used for live performances (dance, theatre, live shows), extending the creativity and interactivity of the
performers.

PORSCHE TAYCAN
Porsche Taycan — Real-Time Audiovisual Experience
For the launch of the Porsche Taycan, EXTRAsync created an exclusive audiovisual presentation in which the car itself
became the central performer — the living core of a dynamic digital composition.
Using the EXTRAscan system — a proprietary technology developed by Marco Monfardini and Gianluca Sibaldi —
the Taycan was digitally scanned in real time, transforming its physical and aesthetic characteristics into a synchronized
stream of sound and visuals.
This data-driven process generated an immersive and continuously evolving environment, where image and audio
interacted in perfect harmony.
The result was a powerful, emotional interpretation of the Taycan’s identity — a refined synthesis of innovation, precision,
and pure energy.
